I went to my first in-person business networking event today and found it really valuable. Everyone I spoke to was open, welcoming and keen to collaborate. It was great to meet other local businesses and people all working to make themselves and others a success. It had a real community feel and I met more than one person keen to potentially use my services, which was a lovely bonus. I would encourage anyone who hasn't already to try and attend a face-to-face networking event if nothing else to meet others in similar situations and help communities thrive.
